Epp – “SⒶMMICH”

Hey, ya’ll! Epp is back!

2016 has been full of surprises so far, and I guess Epp was feeling a little left out, because he has decided to throw his hat back into the ring. We last heard from the Portland emcee in 2013, where he released both Chrome Plated Chronicles and Suicide Doors; two great projects that were, unfortunately, overlooked by most. I’ve been (impatiently) awaiting his return since then, and if this new song is any indication, Epp may have something special on his hands. “SⒶMMICH,” which boasts some incredible production from ReignState, has this emcee treading unfamiliar territory. ReignState created something menacing and aggressive, and Epp didn’t so much as flinch; tackling the beat head on, and pulling no punches in the process. No word yet on if this means a new album is on the way, but if so, I’m excited.

“Cold heart and a big dick.”

You can listen to “SⒶMMICH” below.
