Joe Budden – “Afraid” (Drake Diss)

With Drake finally firing back on French Montana’s “No Shopping,” Joe Budden wasted no time returning shots with “Afraid,” which contains a heavy sample from “The Resistance” off of Drake’s Thank Me Later. And even with things finally popping off from the other side, this is still one of the weirdest beefs I’ve ever experienced throughout my time in the Hip Hop scene. Joe Budden likes Drake, he enjoys his music, but the crux of his argument is that Drake is no longer humble, and his music has suffered as a result. Who knows how valid this frustration is (it could be 100% genuine). Either way, we’re getting some good music from Joe, so I can’t complain too much.

Listen to “Afraid” below.
