After giving us a video for “Somber Zombie” a month ago, Wool See is back with another set of visuals off his latest album LifeAlert. It seems the closer we get to the album’s one year anniversary, the harder Wool See is promoting it, and if that results in videos like this, I’m all for it. Tim Slew is in the director’s chair this time around and the end result is a fitting mix of imagery that is both simple and visually stimulating. “Departures” was one of my favorite cuts off LifeAlert when it came out last year and the new video reminded me why I felt that way. Life, death, religion, and politics are the topics of discussion, and Wool See’s unique style makes his effort stand out among the hundreds of artists touching on the same themes. Peep the video down below.
