Cigarettes After Sex Release Their Debut Album

It’s been a long time coming, but Ambient Pop collective Cigarettes After Sex have finally released their debut, self-titled album. Led by its singles “K,” “Apocalypse,” and “Each Time You Fall In Love,” Cigarettes After Sex is one of those records I never thought we’d actually receive. After years of releasing singles and short EPs, I assumed the group would be content with following that formula, which would have been fine, so now that the album is actually here, it’s a bit surreal. Clocking in at just over 45 minutes, whether they want the burden or not, their self-titled album could be a make-or-break moment for the group, showcasing whether the group’s unique sound can be sustained over a full-length project. In any case, I’m eager to find out.

Cigarettes After Sex can be streamed on Bandcamp below and can also be found on all major digital and streaming platforms.
