After announcing Running Wild a couple of weeks ago, the album’s lead single gets some visuals, courtesy of Tough Town. I knew when the song was released that Grieves was going to get flak for it, and sure enough, if you browse the YouTube c-section, that’s exactly what you’ll see. It’s a shame, really, because I still believe “RX” is a natural maturation of Grieves’ core sound, and by adopting some current mainstream styles, not only is he stepping out of his comfort zone, but he’s doing it incredibly well, in my opinion. Different strokes, though. Underground fans are fickle as hell.
